why do i refuse to

play by the rules?

In wedding photography, there is this belief that If you mix your wedding work and your other photography work on one website, people won’t hire you because it means you’re not good enough.
For donkey years I just blindly believed this and without even questioning it, separated my wedding work and the rest into two websites.

But as the ADHD life goes, this just.. didn’t work for me, because how are you meant to run two websites and social media etc at the same time? My brain literally does not compute. So I didn’t shoot other things than weddings, because I had no way of telling people, that I actually can and LOVE to shoot other things.
Except…
I did.

So this is where my problem with this belief we all in the wedding industry just follow without questioning it - lies.
When I shoot a wedding, I shoot everything.
Pregnant bride? Boom a quick pregnancy shoot. You have dogs coming to your wedding? You bet you will get equal number of photos of you as of your dogs. Cake maker looking stunning while setting up their gorgeous work? Impromptu personal branding incoming - and on that note, the amount of linkedin photos the guests have from the weddings I have covered? I have lost a count. Oh and the most obvious one - pretty much every wedding is a family shoot. Just with everyone looking very nice and not getting ice cream all over their shirt right before I turn up.

Basically what I am saying is. I have the skills and experience, but I lack the brain power to run different websites, because some mouldy dude 20 years ago said I should do so. So please, join me in the revolution and come in, have a look around and maybe book me for any shoot you’re need a help with, that would be absolutely epic.

I’m sure she is a magician in her free time because her work is out of this world!

who am i?

And why should you choose me?

It is hard to believe that my photography career is now quickly and surely approaching 20 years. The negative to this is that I am ancient. I know I don’t look it though, thanks! ;)
The positive of that is that I have had the time to learn a lot of things.

My career started with photographing live gigs, which lead to me being a photographer for multiple musicians and bands back home in Czech republic, that then lead me to working for pretty much every modelling agency in the country as their test photographer, as well as working as the official photographer for Czech miss. That lead me to working on some big shoots such as campaign for Samsonite and Ferrero rocher.
Then I decided to throw a grenade in my life and moved to Paris over night. Which lead to me working for multiple modelling agencies in Paris. Then I decided that actually living the dream I worked so hard for is too boring, so I moved to Milton Keynes ( yeah lol, I know, what a dummy )
Which lead to me shooting weddings, family portraits, kids etc. ( Not many modelling agencies in the good old MK )
Which lead to me taking a break for a while, because my ego felt like I failed at life if I am not shooting the next vogue campaign, which lead to me stop being a moron, starting my business again and focusing mainly on weddings for a while.

Which lead to me getting my dogs and taking photos of them and realising just how much I love it, which lead to me being able to get a horse, which lead to me taking photos of horses and realising just how much I love that too. Which lead to me sitting here for about 17 hours straight redoing me entire website because ( as long as you’re a nice human ) I wanna be your photographer for everything.

I am the most anxious, self conscious person I know, but let me tell you, with Natalie, that didn’t matter one bit. I have no idea how she does it, but she is the funniest, most relaxed ray of sunshine I’ve ever met.

  • Don't you worry, I am in way too deep at this point. Jokes aside, there's always new things to learn, every day is different and I believe that if I can make one person's day better by taking photos they will cherish forever, then there's literally no reason for me to ever stop.

  • Yes I do! However I am studying for animal telepathy diploma ( but that's mainly so I can get the tea from pets about their humans :))

  • Yes and No. Our current home is not very client faced friendly - but I have a fully portable studio set up I can bring to you. Lights, backgrounds, even some outfits, all of it.

  • Arm and leg, the earth etc. All of it, even your first newborn ( dog or horse, kids are too expensive )
OK, I will stop. Prices depends on a photoshoot, I made sure that I am not one of those 'if you put the word wedding in a 0 appears in the end of the quote' people, so every photoshoot fee is proportionate to the amount of time, equipment and skill it takes to produce the best work possible.

  • My personal feeling is - unless we're actually unsafe, we go with the flow. Rain can make for some epic photos

  • That depends on what kind of shoot it is. If we're talking weddings, I have shot previously abroad and it has been an amazing experience. If you want me to shoot your 28th birthday party in a local pub, I might put a bit of a radius on

  • Meeting all of you beautiful souls and seeing/reading the happiness when you love your photos.
I also would not survive working in 9-5 :)

  • Firstly, make sure you love their work. In various weather conditions, in various time of the year and time of day. Make sure you love the editing. And secondly make sure you like them as humans, It's so awkward if you don't and it will show in the photos. Wear things that you feel the best in. If it's a renaissance fair dress, wear that!

So now that we’re here, where would you like to go next?
